Top 10 migration questions, answered.
Will my live store go down during the migration?
No. We only ever read from your current store — it keeps selling the whole time. Everything is written to the new store, and traffic only moves when you approve the verification report and the DNS is switched.
Will I lose my SEO or my URLs?
No. Product, collection, page and blog handles are preserved so your URLs stay identical, meta titles and descriptions move with them, and every 301 redirect from your old store is recreated. Image URLs inside product descriptions are re-pointed to the new store's CDN so nothing references the old store.
How much does it cost?
Fixed one-time prices: Standard DIY $247, Complete $397, Concierge $497, Enterprise from $797. No per-record metering — your catalogue size only affects scheduling, never the price.
What data actually moves?
Products, variants, images, SKUs and cost; customers with addresses and marketing consents; full order history with tracking numbers; collections, blogs, pages, menus, redirects; metafields and metaobjects (references re-pointed); discounts, gift cards, reviews; markets, currencies and translations; and your live theme.
How do you keep my data safe?
Access is via revocable API tokens (or login if you choose), encrypted at rest with AES-256, decrypted only by your migration engineer, and automatically deleted 30 days after the job — and you can delete it yourself any time.
How long does a migration take?
Most stores complete within 2–5 business days including the second-pass verification, depending on your package. Very large stores are scheduled after we see your counts — always confirmed with you before work begins.
What can't be migrated?
Only what Shopify exposes no API for — for any vendor: app installs, payment gateway credentials, domains/DNS, original gift card codes (we issue replacements), and notification templates. Every one is itemised on a store-specific checklist, never silently skipped.
Do you offer a free demo?
Yes — connect your store read-only at our free demo and we scan it live, showing exactly what will migrate and confirming readiness, before you pay anything.
What if something is missed?
Every migration runs twice; a correct second pass creates zero new records — that machine-checked proof ships with a count-matched report. If verification shows a gap we can't close, you choose a corrective re-run or a proportional refund.
What about my apps — Klaviyo, reviews, pixels?
Subscription plans and review data migrate; Klaviyo URL re-wiring, Meta/Google pixel migration or setup, CAPI and Signals Gateway are available as fixed-price add-ons you can add to any order.
